The O-ring-sealed and nitrogen-purged Elite binoculars are waterproof and fogproof. External lenses are coated with Rainguard, a patented, hydrophobic lens coating that sheets away moisture and oil ensuring a clear view in all weather conditions. Ergonomic open-hinge styling provides a comfortable, wraparound grasp of the rubber armored barrels. The magnesium chassis reduces the weight to just 23 ounces, 20% lighter than previous Elites and most other premium optics. Naturalists and birders will appreciate the close focus of nine feet.
